Since I've been in college, I've realized how hard it is to really get together with people. In high school, I had the same people in my classes, for the most part, all day. But here, I have fifty minute classes where everyone is focused on the lecture and no one really has time to chat. And my schedule changes every three months so there so no guarantee I will know people in my classes each quarter. It is kind of difficult, and it means I have to really try and make an effort to get together with people.
So today's challenge is to hang out with someone in real life. I may seem easy, but for some people, like my introverted self, it is really really hard. And phones distract people, so it makes you feel like others don't want to spend their time with you. That is usually not the case, but it feels that way.
