Hello!
I am the Mindful Digital Native. I am an engineering and technology ethics student passionate about helping people find a balance with the use of technology in their lives. Welcome to 30 Days of Mindful Technology. This series was inspired by Youtuber Yoga with Adriene, who uses a 30 day program to ease people into the practice of yoga. I am using a similar principal to ease people into the ideas of digital wellness and tech ethics. From the outside, they can seem hoaky and, well, anti-technology. And when you first looked at this blog post, maybe you were expecting someone who is a proponent of going off the grid and giving up every device that you had. I’m glad to tell you that is not me. At all. In fact, it's not most people in the digital wellness community. I am here to help you learn about what it means to have boundaries with technology, as well as illuminate some of the issues surrounding our use of it, in the most accessible way possible. This program is designed to be fun and easy to slip into your daily routine. Each day will include:
